Overview
Famous for its aquamarine crystals, Antero is a favorite among rock hounds. The standard route via the west slopes is accessible by 4WD vehicle to 13,800 feet, making this one of the easiest 14er summits. Crystal collecting is popular along the upper slopes near the summit ridge.
