Route Description
Most commonly climbed in combination with Redcloud. From Redcloud's summit, descend the connecting ridge and climb to Sunshine. Easy Class 2 terrain throughout the traverse. At 14,001 feet, Sunshine barely qualifies as a 14er.
Gear & Preparation
Same trailhead as Redcloud - the combo is efficient. The ridge traverse adds about 1.5 miles and 700 feet of additional elevation.
