Route Description
The first peak in the popular DeCaLiBron circuit. From Kite Lake, climb the steep east face via switchbacks. The upper section involves Class 2 scrambling with some loose rock and moderate exposure. Summit views reveal the other DeCaLiBron peaks stretching to the north.
Gear & Preparation
Start early if doing the full DeCaLiBron loop (4 summits). Helmet recommended for loose rock sections. Day use fee required for Kite Lake parking.
